I is for I love the weekend.

Greetings from cyber world. Have you missed me? Well, I sure had a busy weekend. It started on Thursday when we headed to the Barn for the Gopher vs. Bison women's basketball game. I am not sure why they call it the Barn because it sure didn't look like one to me, but what do I know, I am only 9 months old. Here is a picture of my dad and me. I was a little nervous when we first got there because it was so noisy. You can see in the background that we were not the only Bison fans there.
Grandma and Grandpa Cameron joined us for the game too.
Unfortunately, the Bison lost but it was a close game. Here is a picture of my mom and me.

Onto Friday....

Mom signed me up for Kindermusik and Friday was our first class. It's a music class with a bunch of other mommies (and one daddy) and their babies. Here is a picture of my mom and I dancing. It was a good thing they had the words to the songs on the wall so my mom could sing along. We know how she is with song lyrics.
There was an older girl there that I was quite interested in. She was very cute. I was trying to get her to escape with me but she didn't seem to interested. She must not be a younger man type. Hopefully she is there next week.
When I wasn't busy trying to flirt with all the girls I was busy singing songs and meeting new babies. I was definitely the best looking baby there.

Mom, it's time to go eat lunch. Come on I am hungry!

Onto Saturday...
Saturday I had swimming lessons again. This time my dad got in the water with me. He was trying to teach me how to float on a kick board but I was far more interested in this orange toy I got.

What a busy weekend I had. Toodles, until next time.

H is for Having Fun

Guess what? I started swimming lessons today. Since this is my first time and I am so little my mom had to get in the water with me. Here is a picture of me trying to float on my back.

Here we are learning how to float on our tummies. I would much rather be on my tummy than on my back. I wasn't to sure about that back floating business.

While I was on my back my mom was trying to show me how to kick with my legs. This seems much easier when I am in my bathtub at home. This back thing is a little to much for me right now.
Mom, what is that girl doing? She is distracting me from figuring out this tummy floating thing.

Here I am trying to kick on my tummy. The girl to the right is my instructor. She has the same name as my mom (Amy) and she graduated from high school with my dad. What a small world. She was pretty nice. We got to sing two songs, Pop Goes the Weesel (mom didn't know all 3 verses, she said she would learn them before our next class) and If You are Happy and You Know It.

At the end we got to pick a toy to play with in the water. I chose a purple walrus. Here is a picture of my mom and I playing with it.
MOM! Stop squirting me with it.
Good news....we get to go back 7 more times to swim. By then I should be a swimming pro, just like my mommy (ok, she wasn't a pro but close enough!).

G is fer Getting Out

Can you believe that January is almost over? Where does the time go? We have had such warm weather lately that the snow is quickly disappearing. I haven't been able to go snowmobiling or sledding with my dad. Where is the snow?
I wonder if I could plot my own escape? I need to get out and enjoy this snow before it's ALL gone. How to do that? I would have to do it when my mom isn't looking and I would need the keys to the snowmobile. Hmmmmm....

Uh oh, one problem. I might need some pants in order to escape. They would probably come in handy when I am riding on the snowmobile.

In other news....
My mom took me to the doctor today for my 9 month check-up. In honor of this occassion she decided to do my hair. Here is a nice side view of my new do. It's kind of a slicked back 70s style. She also took me to McDonalds for lunch. Unfortunately, I didn't get the Big Mac like I wanted but I did enjoy a french fry.
Now for what you all have been waiting for...drum roll please...I now weigh 22 lbs. and 12 oz and I'm 30 1/2 inches tall. My head and enormous brains have grown to a whopping 18 inches. No shots today, Thank God! But, I did have to get my finger poked to check my hemoglobin. Dr. Jaworski said it looked good and I don't have to come back until I am 15 months old!

F is for Freedom

Hmmm...what can I get into today. Let me think here...
Oh, here is a drawer at just my level. Look at all the stuff in here. Mom and Dad should really clean this out.
I found something. But what else can I grab? I see duct tape and some cords. I like cords.
Forget the drawer. I see something up here I want. Let me get up there to get a closer look.
I. Can. Almost. Reach. It. SSSSTTTRRREEEETTTCCCHHHHH.
Got it! I knew I could reach it. Oh, paper. I love to play with paper. I hope its nothing important.

E is for Exploring

Guess what? We finally saw blue sky today so we headed out for some exploring. Today we explored Minnehaha Falls.
The falls were bigger then any other waterfall I have seen so far. (Ok, so the only waterfall I have seen is the one that falls from the facet in the bath tub ;-) As you can see in this picture some of it is frozen.

Here's my mom and I at the top of the falls. Don't you just want to pinch my cheeks?

Minnehaha Falls was fun. Mom and dad said they were going to bring me back here in the spring when it wasn't all frozen. I can't wait.

D is for Doing Work.

Hello! Good to see you. It seems I have a bit of work to do today on the computer.
Let's see, I need to type a letter this afternoon plus pay some bills.
I have to make sure my fingers are on the right keys. Since I can't see over the desk this is a vital part of my accuracy. I wonder how many words per minute I can type?

Well, I finished my work for the day. Time for dinner. Catch you later.

C is for Camera

My mom got a new camera for Christmas. She has been playing with it to try and get some good shots of me. However, that seems to be difficult for her because I never stop moving. But, she did get this great shot of my first two teeth.
Look at my very cute feet. How did she get this picture? I must have stopped moving for a moment.
This one is my mom's favorite. She loves the way my eyes look.

B is for Birth

First lets recap. I was born on April 15, 2005 (yes I am a tax day baby). I was 9lbs 6 oz and 21.5 inches long. My mom says that I had brown hair and blue eyes. I, of course, was very handsome. Here is a picture of me with my parents when I was just minutes old.

My mom started a web page for me after I was born. You can check it out and see how busy I have been since April.
