Y is for Yours Truly

Greetings from Lake Waverly!
My mom and dad took me to the beach this weekend.

I even got dunked in the water by my dad.
It wasn't that bad.

Well.....
except for the gallon of water I swallowed.

It was even shallow enough for me to stand in.
But enough of this water. How about some sand?

Hmmm....what is this?
It appears to be the makings of a sand castle.

Well, I can help with that.

I don't think this is what my dad had in mind.

Oops!
I think I like it better this way.

As you can see I got covered in sand.
I was ok with most of it.

But, I wasn't so sure of it being on my feet.
It feels funny between my toes.

This requires a closer look.
Hmmm... lets see if I can get this sand off.

Just for the record.
It doesn't taste very good either.

Well besides eating the sand....
I had a great time at the beach. Until next time.....

X is for Xtra HOT weekend

Happy Summer!
Are you staying cool?

I have been trying too.
The other day I resorted to just a diaper to stay cool.

Then my dad decided to turn on the sprinkler
That was a good way to stay cool.

As you can see I got a little wet!

My Grandma and Grandpa Cameron came this weekend.
They took us to the Twins game!

My grandma was nice to share her popcorn.
But she wouldn't give me the bucket.

Good News!
The Twins won!

The next day we took the boat out on the lake.

Are you sick of seeing me on a boat?

This is the third weekend in a row I have been on one.
I think I can be considered a pro by now.

Wait, I know what you are thinking.
It doesn't look very sunny...right? Well, it was very nice out and we were glad to not have the sun.

My mom even got in the water with me.
Grandpa pulled us around on his tube.

Whose that?
Even my dad came out to join us.

Enough of that tube.
I can only take so much!

How about some silly faces?
I am pretty good at those?

Check out this face?
I was pretty excited that grandpa let me drive the boat.

This is my favorite face.
Did you hear me? I got to drive the boat!!!

And last but not least.....A picture with my mom and dad.

W is for Water Weekend

Greetings!
I spent the weekend hanging out at my Aunt Jess and Uncle Mike's cabin.

The weather was perfect and so was the water.
Jess and I spent a lot of time hanging out on the dock.

She even shared some of her chips and dip with me.
It was yummy! I even fed some to the minnows.

I got to take my first ride on a jet ski. It was pretty fun.

My dad even let me stear for a bit.

Here is a short clip of me riding the waves!

I got to take a ride on Uncle Mike's boat.
That was pretty fun. I liked sitting up at the front.

He even let me drive for awhile.
I can now say I have mastered the art of turning the boat in a full circle....just ask Mike!

V is for Very Fun Camping Trip

Hello Everyone!
I just returned from my first camping trip and thought I would share some pictures.

As I am sure you can imagine I was a big help while camping.

I helped my dad with these big long poles for setting up the tent.

It was kind of hot when we got there.
So I hung out in the tent for awhile to cool off.

After all that work it was time for a snack.
And I had to look at the map to see where the lake was.

We decided to head to the lake and go for a swim.

The water was nice and warm...once we got used to it.

Here I am hanging out at the campsite.

My mom and I decided to hang out for awhile in the morning.

After breakfast I had to help my dad collect some firewood.

I helped drag this big piece over to the fire pit.

Ta Da! It's in the pit!

After all that work I tried to take a nap.
However, I found it much more interesting to stare out the tent window.

My Grandma and Granpa Lee came with their boat.
I was put in charge of driving the boat.

Well, actually my dad drove.
I just told him where to go.

It was so hot out we decided to jump off the boat and take a dip.
I wasn't so sure about that part.

We decided to hit the beach instead for some good swimming.
It sure felt good to get that life jacket off.

Check out my floating hippo toy.
I didn't have to do any work....just relax in the water.

Vroom Vroom!
My dad pretended it was a car instead of a hippo.

That's all for now.
Hope you had a good 4th of July!
